Last Friday was my last day as the Program Manager for the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art (NCCA), an amazing and important gallery both locally and nationally. It has been a real honour to be a part of the great work that NCCA does and to now be one of the NCCA Program Manager Alumni! The final exhibition of the year was also the final exhibition I installed and is open until this Saturday (17th Dec) although I believe there will be a few treats over the holiday closure period (open on Saturdays) for those local Stay-cationers and daring Interstaters who brave the Darwin's brutal Xmas weather!
Peer Review saw a handful of local artists take home some pretty sweet prizes for their portraits of other local artists. Here are some highlights from the show, including my own portrait of NCCA Director Maurice O'Riordan:
